On January 6, 2025, we received an inquiry from an old customer in Canada. The inquiry product was Carbon Steel ASTM A105 Flange Ring, one 30-inch and one 40-inch, material of A105.

We quoted the customer and confirmed the flange ring drawing, and soon received the customer’s purchase order. The customer has very high quality requirements and requires non-destructive testing and impact testing of the flange ring. After the goods are completed, we provide the customer with inspection photos.

A105N:
The “N” in A105N signifies that the material has undergone a normalization process, which involves controlled heating and cooling to refine the steel’s grain structure and improve its mechanical properties, such as toughness and impact resistance.
