A182 F316 Socket Weld Flange, designed in accordance with ASME B16.5 standards, is a high-integrity flange used for creating a secure pipe connection in high-pressure systems. This flange type features a recessed area for the pipe to be inserted before being welded around its outer diameter, ensuring a robust, leak-proof joint.
Manufactured from durable materials such as forged carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel, the socket weld flange offers excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and longevity under extreme operational conditions. This flange type is extensively used in applications across the oil and gas, chemical processing, and power generation industries.
Size Range | 1/2″- 3″ / DN15 – DN80 |
Pressure Rating | Class 150, 300, 600, 1500 |
Standard | ANSI / ASME B16.5 |
Stainless Steel | ASTM A182 F304 / 304L / 304H, 316 / 316L, 310S, 317, 347, 904L |
